"Mida" passed away on July 31st 2007, aged 66. He will be sadly missed.
Malcolm "Mida" Newton started at Annesley in March 1956. He left the railway in 1964. Now retired, he lives with
his daughter Tammy at Kirkby-in-Ashfield

Ivan Summers started his railway career at Annesley in March 1958. He transferred to Langwith Junction (41J)
in July 1965.Subsequently Langwith Jct.became Shirebrook Diesel Depot. On closure of that depot, Ivan, by now a driver, moved
to the EWS depot at Worksop, from where he retired in September 2005.
